Burke Therapy Summer Camp 2020 Update

To our Burke Therapy families,

We hope you, your family, and your friends are staying safe and well during this uncertain time. With the now official announcement that schools will be closed through the end of the year, we know many children are disappointed that they will not get to see their friends and classmates face-to-face until the next school year.

That is why Burke Therapy is excited to announce that we will be holding summer camp 2020! We are thrilled to provide our Burke families and your friends with the chance to have a fun summer therapeutic experience designed to reignite the excitement for learning under the guidance of our speech and occupational therapy professionals.

Based on Governor Ned Lamont's announcement last week, our summer camps will open the week of June 29th.

Camp will look a bit different this year, with increased cleaning procedures, reduced group sizes, and other necessary precautions to protect your children and our staff. We are waiting on official guidance from the State of CT and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention before providing families with our final policies, procedures and registration information. We are expecting the information to be released by May 15th. I will send further communication no later than June 1st, to allow you to make a comfortable, informed decision.

With reduced group sizes, be sure to contact Julie at Burke Therapy (julie@burketherapyct.com) to reserve your space once you feel ready. If we have to make further changes based on state guidelines or, as the state begins to reopen on May 20th, we will of course update you as soon as possible.

If you already anticipate that you will be enrolling your child, feel free to respond to this email as we are developing a camp enrollment list based on a first come basis.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing everyone again soon.

Julie and the Burke Therapy Team
